I am a fully qualified Counsellor and have completed an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. As a member of BACP, I am bound by the Ethical Framework which ensures that you receive the best possible service for the duration of your counselling sessions.
I came into the counselling field through my years working in the charity sector. From working with clients presenting with mental health issues, addiction, abuse and homelessness I grew passionate about the positive changes that can happen when one has professional support to better understand themselves. I currently work as a Counsellor in a residential treatment centre carrying out individual counselling sessions and group therapy with people struggling with addiction, eating disorders and self harming behaviours. I have also worked in other environments including a university setting, a domestic violence charity, and NHS services. I have gained experience working with a wide range of people and issues.
